Hello, I'm Daniel. Welcome to my blog.

I am a software engineer at AECOM. I lead development on GIS applications within the Flood Risk Solutions group. I work across a handful of client projects, mostly building tools that help local governments plan for flood resiliency. A native of Reno, Nevada, I'm now based in the Triangle area of North Carolina. This is where I write about the projects, tools, and problems I run into outside of that. Code, hardware, whatever I've been tinkering with. Sometimes just things I think are worth sharing.
